GPS Data.

This page provides an index to the GPS data (waypoints and a few tracks) related to the Silkroute Club's PanAm 2006/7 trip. Whilst considerable care has been taken to ensure that these waypoints are accurate and the descriptions correct, there are no guarantees that things have not changed since we were there, and your idea of "clean" and "quiet" may be very different from mine.

Use with caution. Just because we wild camped there may not mean you can. If you visit any of these waypoints and think the description or coordinates are wrong please tell me.

We recorded the latitude and longitude of:

• Every overnight stop.
• Some potential overnight stops that were just too good to miss.
• Some fuel and LPG stations.
• Other interesting or hard to find places.

The GPS data for each country is presented in four formats.

If you would like a Zip file containing all four formats for all countries please contact me. I also have about 500 similar waypoints in Fugawi format collected from various sources.
